About Me

My name is Paritosh and I am currently pursuing a Masters of Science in Informatics at Université Grenoble Alpes - ENSIMAG. My major field of interest is Graphics, Vision and Robotics.

About the Project

My project for GSoC is writing a Qt3D based backend for KStars. The goals are,

• Create Qt3D based backend to draw all objects currently implemented by QPainter backend.
• Create realistic colors, shaders, textures, meshes, lighting for all-stars, solar system, and deep-sky objects.
• Create animations for meteor shows, comet tails, stars twinkle..etc
